*Tiny people cheering all over the world* Well, at least this tiny person.
People often ask me how I drive as someone who is 4'8" tall (Can you see over the steering wheel? Do your feet touch the pedals? etc.) And I'd answer that 2nd question, no - not unless I'm sitting as close as humanly possible to the steering wheel.
The picture below (taken 2 years ago) shows what it's normally like when I drive - basically, super unsafe. I have to sit so close to the steering wheel that if my airbag went off, it would be bad news.
This is especially scary when I'm pregnant. My car's steering wheel was literally resting on my giant belly before I got the pedal extenders installed - yikes.
So my hubby and I decided it was time for some pedal extenders! We adjusted the front seat to a safe (aka normal) position, and took some measurements so that I could order the right length of pedal extenders. We ordered them, installed them, and bam! I can now drive much more safely, and my belly has waaaayyy more room :)
Here's to a husband who does good research, a safer driving experience, and more room for my belly!
And feel free to laugh at me :) It is kind of funny.
