I spend most of that time listening to music and having "conversations" with Nicholas in the backseat.
Me: How you doing buddy?
Me: I love you!
Me: Are we going shoppin'?
Me: You are silly.
Along with our deep exchanges of words, I find that this time in the car is really the only time I listen to worship music, outside of Sunday mornings and Pandora's preschooler praise & worship station. It's the only time I really listen to the words, pray them as I sing, and soak it in. So I really enjoy these times in the car. And sometimes I hear Nicholas "singing" from his carseat, which just about squishes my heart.
The other day while coming home from the store, I was listening to the Bethel Live version of "Healer." I have heard this powerful song many, many times. And I know that there is controversy around the song's author. But this time as I listened, something new stuck out to me in a big way.
The line, "you hold my every moment."
God holds our every moment.
This brings so much peace. It shows me more of His Father heart. It helps me to say yes to all the scary (and good) things that are coming our way.
So I made this little "print" for my bedroom wall, because I need to see it everyday. I need to open my eyes, look over at my wall, and soak in this truth before the day begins. It's nothing fancy and I don't claim to be a designer, but since it's blessing me to have it around, I thought I'd share it with you.

It's 6x6 inches, just a little square but it's a high-ish resolution so you could print it at up to 8 inches (or make it tiny!) Put it on your mirror, re-size it to be little and stick it in your car or your journal, etc.
My now "inspired' wall :)

I pray that this is a reminder for me, and for you, that Jesus knows us intimately and desires to be a part of every moment of our lives.
Have a great day friends!
