Stopping In My Tracks

Hey friends. I hope you're having a great week! I am thoroughly enjoying this time with family and friends, and so I haven't found much time to write. Also, my husband is away for two weeks leading worship on a missions trip, so I'm trying to put my time with Nicholas before anything else.
And I am really enjoying that :)

I love this sassy little boy with my whole heart.

Though I've enjoyed spending less time on my computer, I do miss this little space, and the people I get to interact with through it. So I'm stopping by to say hi! And I want to quickly share with you a few blog posts that have literally stopped me in my tracks this week. I'm not just listing them here to get a post up on my blog - I really want to share what these women have written, because I can't stop thinking about what they've said.

If you have the time this week, I encourage you to read these posts:

My beautiful friend Erika shares about feeling stuck in life. This post made me cry, and brought such hope to my heart because I've been there.

On the heart of a mama. I need to re-read this like everyday.

A beautiful and hope-filled piece on losing a baby. Sobbed at this one, and so grateful for the hope there is in Jesus.

All I can say about this post is yes and yes. Just so much grace.

I am so hard on myself. (My mom reminded me of this just yesterday...for the 1000th time in my life.) That's why this post on embracing your strengths and weaknesses is one I will read 12 more times this week. (And the next week, and the next week, and the next week.)

What our kids need to see.

So much hope, grace, and challenge to grow.

Have a great Thursday! I'm off to go wrestle a toddler who has just learned to wag his finger at me while he says, "no, no, no."
