A Glimpse of Gratefulness {Our Christmas}

Thanks for all of your sweet words on Twitter, Facebook, and in my comments about yesterday's post. I just can't get enough of the goodness of God, so I'm delighted that you were able to share in that with me! Through Him, there is true, lasting hope for me and for you.

I realize that today is January 2nd and I "should' be writing about the new year, but I'm carving my own path in this blogging world! (Or I didn't get my act together soon enough to share pictures from our Christmas celebration before the end of the year, so...) Either way, I am excited to share with you a glimpse of how our Christmas in Washington went! There are a few pictures that are just too cute not to share.

I spent most of our Christmas vacation feeling grateful.
With recent happenings in the world and in the lives of people I care about, I couldn't help but just be thankful. This life is so short. Jesus is the only constant. I got to spend the week of Christmas with my husband, sweet son, and mine and Brian's families - for that, I am very grateful.

Here's a peek into how we celebrated Christmas:

Christmas morning

My mama's beautiful Christmas table!

My adorable nephew Ralphie and my big brother

Matching caps on the littlest grandsons!

My side of the family and our kiddos!

Isn't my newphew Mack so beautiful?

My sister makes cute babies!

My boys make my heart melt.

We tried to take 1 decent picture of Brian's mama & her grandbabies...this is the best one. Sorry Mary!

Brian's brother and our nephew

Thank you Jesus for this time with my family. Thank you for coming to this earth as a baby, out of your enormous love for us. A humble King, a loving God.
