ReplyDeleteWhat a fun giveaway! Here's my favorite holiday tradition.
ReplyDeleteMy holidays are so crazy, I never know what city/state I'm going to be in, but no matter where I am my sister will be there. My favorite tradition on the holidays, is after we have opened every gift, my sister and I usually end up curled up watching a movie and reading whatever book(s) we got for Christmas.
One of my favorites is buying Christmas jammies for our children to open on Christmas Eve, my mom did this and so did my husband's parents.
ReplyDeleteGreat giveaway! Thanks to all the creative contributors! And happy Christmas!
ReplyDeleteThanks for the giveaway! My favorite holiday tradition is the Christmas Eve gift exchange my husband and I do every year. We always get a rotisserie chicken from Walmart, make mashed potatoes and corn, and have hot cocoa. Then we watch the Charlie Brown, Garfield, and California Raisins Christmas specials. Finally, we put on Christmas music and exchange presents! I actually used to hate Christmas--I felt like there was all of this build up to the day, and it was so disappointing--but my husband has made me love it! We also make a year-themed ornament each Christmas, and we also try to make it to the candlelit service with his aunt and uncle. (We head to our parents' on Christmas morning.)
ReplyDeleteWhat a fun giveaway!!
ReplyDeleteMy favorite tradition is letting the kids pick a new ornament every year! This year, we're making our own!
Great giveaway :) Happy Holidays
ReplyDeleteOne of my favorite Christmas traditions is going to cut down our tree the day after Thanksgiving with all of our family.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the fun giveaway! My favorite tradition is spending Christmas Eve with my mother's family. We eat, play, and gather for a gift exchange under the tree
ReplyDeleteI can't think of my favourite adult tradition, but my very favourite as a kid was waking up early Christmas morning and sitting at the top of the stairs with my siblings. My Mom would wake up early to make breakfast and set the table (and she always put the present out after we went to bed on Christmas Eve so we were SO excited to see everything) and my Dad would, as always, sleep in! We'd have to wait until he woke up, got ready, and came out of his room. Then we were allowed to run down the stairs and look at the tree, give Mom and morning hug, and sit down for breakfast. There was such fun anticipation!
ReplyDeleteOur favorite tradition is putting up the christmas tree after Thanksgiving dinner! The kids love it. :D

ReplyDeleteLove your blog. :)
ReplyDeleteMy favorite holiday tradition is stockings. My brother and I are obsessed with stocking stuffers, and still insist that my mother actually fill out stockings with little items, each individually wrapped. We have big old knitted stockings, so they can fit a lot. There are some items that are included every year, but still my brother and I loooove it.
Opening one present on Christmas Eve with the family.
ReplyDeleteOne of my favorite holiday traditions is to keep a Christmas card from each year and put it in a pre-made scrap book. It is so fun to look back on how everyone changes from year to year!

Advent calender!
ReplyDeletemy favorite holiday tradition would have to be what I've done every Christmas since I was a child: spending one night sleeping in the same room as the tree after it's put up, lights on and all. It's so comforting :)
ReplyDelete'Tis the season! Merry Christmas to you and yours!
