I didn’t expect to grow as a person. I didn’t expect to truly connect with other women. I never expected that I would meet “online friends” in real life.
And I never dreamed that God would change, heal, and restore my heart through blogging.
That is what I experienced this last weekend through attending the Influence Conference. 200+ women, all bonded by the common thread of our love for Christ, gathered together for 3 days. We ate together, learned together, laughed together, and cried together. LOTS of tears, but mostly happy ones :)

I am still processing this past weekend, but I’m excited to share with you all in the coming days. (I’m tempted to say “y’all” like many of my blogging friends would say, but I fear that my Seattle-ite friends would roll their eyes at my attempt to sound endearing.) So I’ll stick with “you all.” Sorry Megan.
I’m grateful to the Lord, to the incredible women who put on this conference, and to the new friends I made. Be careful bloggers - you may think you're blogging for the creative outlet, but don't be surprised if you end up with a changed heart as well.

That is awesome that your blog has done all of this for you! I can't wait to hear all about the conference!
