I've been thinking a lot lately about how I am using this life that God has given me. He's put people in my life to cherish, he's given me gifts to serve others with, and I want to spend my time wisely.
I was excited when this month's Girl Behind the Blog link-up topic was on your influence - who has influenced you, and what will you do with the influence you've been given (both in the blogging world and in other areas of life). So here's a bit on who has influenced me, and what I hope to impart to others.
Featured music: "Breathe" by Alex Woods
(This song was written for Brian and I, and I walked down the aisle to this song!)
I also forgot to add - one way I want to influence people through my blog is to help them embrace who God has made them to be. I am on the extra (extra extra) short side, and God has helped me to embrace that and love how He made me, so I want to encourage others to do the same!
Thanks Ashley and Erin for hosting! If you want to link-up, click the adorable picture below!
Ok, so.. is your hair getting exponentially longer or am I just having early mommy brain?
Anyways....
I've told you before but I love your heart for this little space on the internet. A daily dose of grace is absolutely what I get when I come here. Cant wait to meet you soon soon soon!
Mackenzie I love love love hearing you speak. You speak with such calmness and grace, I love your voice! And I loved the way you talked about your sister..what a great example of true, selfless, Jesus like love. And thank you for being so real on your blog, showing your triumphs and mistakes
Mackenzie, I am always so encouraged by your blog. It makes me so joyful to see a sister in Christ who loves the Lord and is passionate about His grace! Alesha <3
Mackenzie, you are such a beauty! Your spirit shines through with everything you say.
I love what you said about the goal not being perfection- it's about loving and following Jesus. I definitely think one of the biggest ways He is shown glory is in confession and vulnerability! Where we are weak, He is strong.
I would love to hear more about your ministry! What an amazing opportunity :)
I always love watching your vlogs, girl :)
ReplyDeleteI think it's so sweet how your sister has influenced you. She sounds like an amazing woman.
What a beautiful song you shared in the background - how special that it was written for you and your husband and your wedding.
I love your heart for grace - amen, sister. You're an inspiration!
