Real Women

In my fairly short time of blogging, I've learned how important it is to be real. You don't have to put all your personal details out there on the internet, but there is a richness in the blogging community when we let people get to know us. My favorite blogs are those where the author is authentically sharing their heart, whether about something silly or something truly heartfelt. I loved reading a blog and feeling like I got to know them! It allows me to rejoice in their happy moments, and (literally) cry with them as they share the hardships of their lives. It lets me pray for them in a real way! I love the community that being authentic creates.

Today I want to share with you some of the women who are sponsoring me this month. They are real, they are inspiring, and they are also really funny. Some of them have kids, a few of them are just finishing school, and one of them is Australian with an amazingly tall husband! :) But the one thing they have in common is their love for Jesus, and their open and honest hearts. (And for some reason, they all like me :) ) Please visit their blogs and check out the links below their pictures, I know they'd love to hear from you!

This month I also asked them to share their favorite post that they've written. I was pleasantly surprised to find that all of these posts are ones where they really share their hearts! So enjoy getting to know the real hearts behind these wonderful women! And go say hello!

He Says Newcastle is basically my journal as I prepare for and head out to do a YWAM DTS in Newcastle, Australia! Follow along on my adventures; I have no idea what to expect, but one thing: God is going to do amazing things! (And I hope to meet a few kangaroos...).Favorite Post: "Welcome and Introduction"

I am the wife of a police officer I call 5ohHubby and a stay at home mother to a beautiful little girl I call 5ohBaby. I received a BA from Florida State (Go Noles!) that started out as an English Degree, ended up a social science degree, and is now being used as a MRS degree (see how I did that?) Basically I paid FSU lots & lots o' cash to meet the man of her dreams and be the back up plan in case 5ohHubby decides his days of runnin' and gunnin' are over and he'd rather be a stay at home dad (and all the police wives laughed). My candid musings touch on the issues that speak to the hearts of wives, mothers, and women everywhere.

I am a college student living out her dreams of living in the big city and blogging about every minute of it! I ramble about faith, food, fashion, and some of my amazing friends. If I could have it my way pop music would always play in the elevator, everything would be gluten-free, and all the water in the world would be replaced with coffee.

Hey there! I'm Samara from over at The Secret Life of Samara. I recently joined the blogosphere and am loving getting to know so many people and sharing my life with all of you. I do however feel a little bit away from it all being over here in the Land Downunder- us Aussie bloggers are a rare breed! When I am not blogging, I spend my days hanging out with my wonderful husband, chasing my very naughty rabbit around the house, being creative, laughing with my friends and relying on God to sustain me through the highs and lows of this thing we call life. I'd love for you to stop by my blog and leave a comment to let me know you were there. Can't wait to meet you!
