You Know You're A Mom When...

- Cereal has become an acceptable meal at all times of the day

- You rarely go to the bathroom alone

- Poop has become a normal subject of conversation, even when it shouldn't be

- Though you swore you'd never let yourself go, sweatpants have come a regular in your wardrobe rotation

- Suddenly the most mundane of phrases have become exciting because you constantly put them into song form

- You realize after being dressed for several hours that at least one item of clothing that you're wearing is inside out

- Someone has sneezed on your face within the last week

Can any mama out there relate with these?

  1. While I may not be a mother, as a stay at home father, I can most definitely relate to each and every one of those, especially poop being a normal subject of conversation. Oh how I wish it wasn't, oh how I wish...

    Terrific post!

  2. I'm not a mom yet, but cereal is definitely ok at all times of the day and working from home means I wear sweats all the time and unfortunately poop is a normal part of conversations... this doesn't bode well for when I do become a mom! Thanks for the posts - I really enjoy your blog!

  3. Love your blog!!!! I am a man and love it!!! hahahaha and a good friend!! Bless you guys!!

  4. I'm glad that you can relate as a dad! Thanks for the comment! Oh the things we discuss as parents...

  5. Ariel, thank you for your comment, I was really encouraged. It sounds like you'll have an easy transition to motherhood :) Believe me, you do get out and make time to actually cook, it's just trickier to figure it out.

Every comment means a lot to me, so feel free to say hello. Thank you!
