2 month olds watching TV & a cozy drink recipe for winter days

I have a problem: my 2 month old loves watching TV! I'm beginning to think that children born in this generation have some innate love for all things with glowing screens and buttons. I find myself having to turn his little body around so that he's not trying to watch TV. I know that despite my resolve to not "parent" with the television, I will someday resign to entertaining my kids with TV so that I can shower or get something done. But I'm pretty sure this is too early to start.

Below is a delicious recipe to start your day! It's often quite snowy and cold here in Montana, so I love coming inside my home after braving the cold to enjoy this warming drink. (And here's Nicholas and his dad sporting some cozy clothes to ward off the Montana weather!)

Salted Caramel Hot Chocolate from Savory Sweet Life (the "copycat" of the Starbucks version, which I love!)
  • 3 tablespoons caramel syrup, heated to luke warm

  • Hot chocolate (already in liquid form)

  • Canned whip cream

  • A pinch of medium coarse sea salt

  1. Pour 2 tablespoons of caramel syrup into a mug so the inside of the mug is coated well. Add hot chocolate and stir everything. Top off with cream, drizzle with the remaining caramel, and sprinkle with sea salt.

  2. Enjoy this cozy drink!
